exploratory call

In this 45-minute initial exploratory call, we’ll meet via Zoom and I’ll answer any questions you have about the writing and editing process. You'll leave with new insights into your story. If you decide to buy additional developmental sessions with Anne, this fee will apply to your first regular session.
NOTE: The exploratory call does not include reading.
single developmental call
REGULARLY $225
This is a one-hour Zoom or phone consultation that includes reading and analyzing up to two of your scenes (4500-word maximum). Alternatively, you can use this call to discuss general problems with your story, or have Anne read and discuss an outline. Session includes an audio recording.
This is a package of four weekly, one-hour Zoom or phone consultations. Each call matches the Single Call description above.

In this one-hour Zoom call, I’ll analyze your opening chapter or scene (up to 3500 words). Together we’ll assess whether:
your story starts in the right place.
your opening scene propels the reader into the story.
the beginning truthfully signals what the reader’s overall experience will be.
the scene is appropriate for your primary and supporting Story Types.
From this analysis, we’ll establish some next steps for getting to your professional draft.
